Side Effects

Flushing, fever, stomatitis, nausea, vomiting, rhinorrhoea, bronchospasm, anaphylactoid reactions, rashes.
Rarely blurred vision, bradycardia, syncope, thrombocytopenia, convulsions.
Rarely, resp or cardiac arrest.

Indications

Tear deficiency.
Acute cough associated with excessive or viscous mucus.
Paracetamol poisoning.

Contra Indications

Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Caution

Asthmatic patients, history of bronchospasm, peptic ulceration.
